MPEB invites all parents, guardians, school staff and members of the Boards of Management to take part in the Primary School Survey today - it’s quick, easy, and confidential.
The survey asks parents, guardians, school staff and board of management members to have their say about their primary school. If you are a parent, guardian, school staff or member of the board of management - don’t miss your chance to have your say – survey closes 16 December 2025.
The results of the survey will help the Department of Education and Youth plan how we provide education at the primary level. The results will also allow each school to consider, along with its school community, what it needs to do to meet parental demand in the future.
This survey is for parents and guardians of children in primary school or who will enter primary school in the coming years. You will need your Eircode to do the survey, which you can find on the following link: Find your Eircode
School staff and board of management members are also encouraged to participate. However, there is a separate survey below for primary school staff and board of management members. To participate, you will need a PIN to do the survey, which the Department of Education and Youth are sending to all schools from 7 November 2025. Staff can email (schoolsurvey@education.gov.ie) the department if they haven't received a PIN by 14 November 2025.
If you have any questions or problems doing the survey, please email the Department of Education and Youth - schoolsurvey@education.gov.ie
